The Resort

The Resort is a “Bed and Barn” where guests can vacation with, or without, horses in the temperate climate of Central Florida. Whether walking, riding or driving, the rolling terrain and oak trees draped in Spanish moss delight the senses. The Resort features 24 well appointed residences and 10 barns with adjacent paddocks. Guests are invited to enjoy over 7 miles of winding trails, a tennis court, a putting green, and a swimming pool complete with a waterfall and hot tub. Carriage rides and carriage driving lessons may be arranged as well as daily stable tours. There are numerous restaurants, los of shopping, golf courses, nightly musical entertainment, and salons and spas in nearby The Villages (one of America’s largest 55+ communities), located just 5 miles from the Resort. Nearby Ocala, with its numerous horse farms and training centers is known as the “Horse Capital of the World.” Ocala is also home to the Appleton Museum, antique shops and boutiques. The glass-bottom boats of Silver Springs are also within easy driving distance |
