The Florida Carriage Museum & Resort offers a variety of tour options for guests intersted in learning more about horses, carriages, the farm, or just want to relax and enjoy our beautiful property. The below is a list of the current tours we offer to individuals or groups. Please note that pricing varies for individuals and groups. Enjoy your tour! Farm Tours $10.00 pp Join us for a personalized tour of this beautiful 400 acre horse farm. You will ride on a limo golf cart and explore and learn about: Chinese Qin Dynasty Garden Reservations for Farm Tours are required. To schedule a tour visit the Museum Gift Shop or call 352-750-5500 etx. 224. Please note that space is limited to 5 people per tour and tours are weather permitting. Museum Tours (Call for Pricing) There are several options for those who wish to tour the Museum with a trained Docent/Guide. Guests can either tour the Museum on their own (placards are available for educational reading) or who wish to have a trained Docent guide them through the Museum. Pricing varies for individual tours and group tours. Group tour packages include a full private tour of the Museum and can be customized to the group’s preferences. Also group packages include catered lunches by Too Jay’s Deli and also can include free bus transport on our 31 passenger motor coach (within a 50 mile raduis of Weirsdale). Docent/Guided Tours require reservations so that arrangements can be made for a Docent to guide you on that day. Stable Tours $5 per adult or $2.50 per child (Age 5-18) A Stable Tour takes you through our lovely Breed Barn where you’ll see some friendly horses, our grooming areas, the Farrier shop, feed room, and tack/harness room. Tours run every hour and last about thirty minutes. Stable Tours are offered at these times: Monday – Saturday Sunday Reservations for Stable Tours are not neccessary but if you plan on bringing a group it is suggested that you call ahead. Tickets for the tours are available in the Museum Gift Shop, just stop by or call 352-750-5500 ext. 246. *NOTE: All pricing excludes tax. |
